DOMINICAN SISTERS OF THE TRINITY

Tinda Pasko

Tinda Pasko embodies the core values of the Dominican Sisters of the Trinity, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families, particularly in underserved communities. Our mission is rooted in a commitment to uplift and empower, echoing the spirit of Saint Dominic, the founder of the Dominican Order, who advocated for charity, compassion, and the pursuit of knowledge.

Through Tinda Pasko, we extend a helping hand to those facing adversity, offering a range of services and initiatives that address pressing societal issues such as poverty, education, healthcare, and more. Our tireless efforts are aimed at fostering a sense of community, resilience, and self-sufficiency among the people we serve.

Feeding Program

For many years now, we have a weekly feeding program for poor children of our neighborhood aging 3 t o13. Some generous people are amused to see the children eat good food not found in their homes, so they give donations every now and then. Some donors instead of celebrating their birthdays at home, treat the children with packed lunch.

At the heart of our feeding program is a commitment to dignity and compassion. We believe that access to food is a fundamental right, and we treat each individual who walks through our doors with respect and empathy. Beyond addressing immediate hunger, our program offers a sense of belonging and hope. We encourage community members to engage, share their stories, and find solace in knowing they are not alone. With the support of our dedicated volunteers and generous donors, our feeding program is a lifeline, a beacon of hope, and a promise of a better tomorrow for those who need it most.

The children increased in number from a dozen at the beginning up to about 70 at present. The are thoughful of their families, for they bring home part of their share of food the their mothers or young siblings.

Flores De Mayo

Every month of May, the Novices teach catechism inside our compounds in the Regional House to children aging 6-13. Besides catechism class, the children are fed with snacks daily. At the end of the month which is the culmination of Flores de Mayo, the children together with their parents are invited for a program given by their children. A substantial snack is given to all. The childrend are given some gifts. This is a yearly activity of the Novices.
